MY STORY

I started using tanning beds when I was just fourteen years old. Specials events, just because... because I wanted to be tan! Everyone looks better tan, right? I spent countless sessions in tanning beds for Homecoming, Prom and also throughout my college years. I never thought I would be the one that gets skin cancer.

In 2012, my father was diagnosed with skin cancer. It was on his face, near his right eye. It was deep. The specialists thought they might have to remove his eye in order to properly treat and remove the cancer. After the surgeries and treatments, he did not lose his eye. Praise God! As of May 2013, my father was cancer-free. After his diagnosis, I vowed to give up tanning beds forever. From that vow, Emberglow was created. I lost my dad in 2022 to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. I work to honor him now.

Looking to book a party or group? Book your spray tans together and come relax in the studio suites. If you'd like a more intimate setting or a time that's not available at the salon, message me to book a mobile/spray tan party at your home or hotel.
